Around the world, over eight million farming groups are experimenting with sustainable farming methods, observing how these practices are leading to increased productivity and improved land management.
Data deriving from reports and scientific evidence indicate that the solution to world hunger lies in agroecology, an approach which, through the application of principles of sustainability and management of agrosystems, is proving to be able to lead to an increase in productivity and above all to an improvement in biodiversity in the area.
This evidence has been observed on every continent, indicating that farmers who adopt this practice have greater food security, higher incomes, better health and lower levels of debt.
At the same time, the reference regulatory framework is changing rapidly, obviously involving not only national legislation and decrees but also the entire global agricultural policy.
This impulse was given, in particular, by the issuing of the so-called Agenda 2030, which thus becomes a point of reference from which to move the entire global socio-cultural and political evolution.
