On 22 April 2024, on the day that celebrates Earth Day, the conference entitled: The agroecological paradigm will be held at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Di3A) of the University of Catania.
Among others, Miguel Altieri will participate in the event.

The event will take place throughout the day, as per the attached poster.
The Conference represents a fundamental stage in opening up and disseminating the Agroecology scenario, addressing the issues around the values, principles and actions necessary to promote and speed up the transition towards sustainable agri-food systems.
The event will be held in the Aula Magna of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the University of Catania – Via Santa Sofia, 100 – starting at 9.00.
Di3A students who participate in the conference will be awarded 0.5 CFU. It is possible to follow the conference online, through following link.
This is the first event in preparation for 1st Congress of Mediterranean Agroecology which will be held in May 2025 in Agrigento.
